KeyEd Foundation β Building Better Teachers for Early Childhood
KeyEd Foundation works at the foundation of education β literally. Their focus is on training early childhood educators in Karnataka government schools, equipping teachers with the practical skills, mindset, and knowledge to excel in the classroom.
The problem they solve Children from underprivileged backgrounds often arrive at school with parents who are themselves uneducated. Without strong early childhood educators, these children fall behind before they have a chance to catch up. KeyEd addresses this by going directly to the teacher.
What KeyEd does
- Comprehensive teacher training and one-on-one coaching for early educators
- Soft-skills training, structured lesson plans, and parent workshops
- Deployment support across Karnataka government schools
- Focus on children from underprivileged and first-generation learner families
TEFβs support goes towards KeyEdβs teacher training and deployment programmes across Karnataka, giving a strong early foundation to children who need it most.
